Back Home - At Last!

There is a greeting card I bought for myself in Maine, and I keep it framed in my office. It's a black and white photograph of an open field underneath a sky of billowing clouds. In the middle of the field is a primitive ladder, with about a dozen rungs, standing upright with no visible means of support. The card reads, "...at last the ladder, which had been built slowly, slowly, one hope at a time, reached up to the clouds. And the dreamer began to climb."

All of us who had "the dream" about the Library have seen it come to fruition. We finally have moved back home, and the wonder we're seeing in everyone's eyes as they look around the Library has made all the hard work worth it.

I invite you all to visit us if you haven't already, and take in all the beauty and grandeur of our Library building and make us a part of your community life. The renovation could not have occurred without all of your support and good wishes. Stop in and join the celebration!
