Welcome to The Director's Blog at The Community Library!



I've been warned that blogs need to be kept short, and that will be hard for me, as a writer, to adhere to! But even if I wanted to disregard that advice, there aren't enough words to tell you how excited I am about this blog, getting our new website up and running, and, above all, having this cyber-vehicle to share news of our renovation.



Every day, we have dozens of conversations with patrons as well as people we meet on the street, and in every one of those conversations, the topic is the Library's renovation. To summarize (and follow that first rule about brevity), let me say we're psyched, exhausted, enthused, tired, anxious, nervous, and incredibly excited! The renovation has gone so smoothly it's almost scary. The staff, trustees, and members of the community have worked so incredibly hard, and we're certain you'll be as excited as we are when we're completely done and moved back in.
